Volunteer Opportunities

VASC honors events and those who make them happen, from the volunteers to the staff, from the follwers to the producers – each and every department that comes together to bring together their unique community. There is something special that happens at events… and there is something truly special about the people that come together to make them possible.

The VASC consists of designers, writers, photographers, illustrators, broadcast producers and the many vendors and suppliers who support them. We continually seek to elevate the standards of creative industries and the value that creative professionals add to commerce and the community at-large. Volunteer today to help aspiring designers and artists of today, learn from your professional expertise. Share your work, unique styles and give helpful advice for those following the trade.

The VASC hosts a speakers every month from September to May featuring a nationally recognized indiviuals from the visual design world. Speaker Series events are held at the Angelika Film Center in Mockingbird Station on the first Wednesday of the month. There is a reception in the lobby beginning at 6:30pm, followed by our presentation at 7pm. In addition to our monthly Speaker Series, we host numerous other design oriented events including workshops, panel discussions, charity events such as the VASC Drive Golf Tournament, the Fall Classic bike event as well as various other social engagements.
